Nolensville High Sports Summer Camps

Information on Registration and Refunds:

If you are registering siblings or multiple campers for the SAME camp, you must register them individually, i.e separate transactions. The transaction fee is based on cost, so the fee will be the same as if purchased together.

All NHS summer camp registrations are non-refundable. Please direct "special circumstance" requests to the Nolensville Athletic Committee at nhsnacsummercamps@gmail.com. Please pay special attention to dates and times before registering for camp. There will be NO refunds for scheduling issues or errors.

A waitlist will be offered for the camps that have requested one. If a camp fills the waitlist will appear within 24 hrs of it filling so please check back daily after a camp is "sold out."

WRESTLING SUMMER CAMP

DATE: June 9th – June 11th TIME: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM (FOR FOOTBALL CAMPERS lunch is 11a-12p)

GRADES: Rising K – 8th

COST: $150

ITEMS NEEDED BY CAMPER: Campers should be in athletic clothing such as t-shirt and shorts. No blue jeans or clothing with zippers allowed. Zippers and other items on clothing can be dangerous to other wrestlers and the mat surface. Campers can wear wrestling shoes if they have them. If they do not, they can wear their socks on the mat. There will NO tennis shoes worn on the wrestling mat; regular shoes can damage the mat surface. Campers should also cut fingernails before attending. This is so that other campers do not get scratched during wrestling. campers should also bring a water bottle. There are water fountains available, but their own water bottle is favorable.

NHS Wrestling Camps will help students mature on and off the mat. NHS Wrestling camps provide excellent life skills in areas such as responsibility, proper attitude, hard effort, and even health and fitness.

Most importantly, you’ll have a blast at NHS Wrestling Camps and create some great memories. Here are some things to look forward to at a NHS Wrestling Camp:

Building Confidence – NHS Camps can help you get a head start on the season ahead. Whether it’s your first time on a mat or you’re looking for a competitive advantage, the skills you’ll learn at camp will be beneficial.

Improve Wrestling Skills – NHS Wrestling Camp will assist you in learning and honing your talents in the sport. The NHS Wrestling Camp provides the repetition needed to gain muscle memory through drill and real wrestling, you will discover a progression method that will help you learn and maintain skills as well as ways to apply them.

Burn Summer Energy – The NHS Wrestling Camp is a fantastic way to expend energy during long summer days.

Physical Fitness – Wrestling demands a high level of athleticism, unlike any other sport. Wrestling increases balance, reflexes, strength, endurance, and agility in wrestlers.

Have Fun – Wrestling is a fun sport that is both rewarding and enjoyable. You’ll make new friends and develop a particular relationship with those who exercise together.

Wrestlers will benefit from the information they learn at camp about building confidence and improving their skills. They’ll also have fun and attending camp will help boost an athlete’s talents in other sports.
